Mila
Mila was found by 2 young ladies, outside of a supermarket in Plovdiv. Mila had been dumped by her owner. The girls later discovered that Mila had been kept with very little food, water and was kept on a very short chain and an extremely tight collar, so tight it had damaged her trachea.
The girls immediately took Mila for urgent medical attention. Mila was extremely thin, had the mange and severe anemia.
Mila was treated at a clinic in Plovdiv and the girls raised funds for Mila to get the correct medications.
The girls then contacted over 15 organisations in Bulgaria to ask for assistance to take Mila. Everydaystray NGO was the only organisation who responded . After reading the email sent both Clair & Neil were very touched by the care and compassion the girls had shown Mila and the heartfelt plea for help.
Everydaystray offered Mila a safe place and one of the girls brought Mila to the shelter.
Mila has settled in really well and this is down to the hard work put in by the girls, with socialisation, training and basic commands.
Mila has a wonderful loving spirit despite the cruelty she had endured. She remains to have trust and faith in people and loves being with all the dogs at the shelter.
Mila will make someone a loving and loyal companion, all she needs is that second chance of a loving home.
