Vics

I was working on a project at University about ‘Adopt don’t shop’ when a good friend of mine introduced me to the work of Everydaystray.

I went along and met the team, filmed the project and from then I have returned weekly to help.

I have always wanted a dog as my ‘forever friend’, but circumstances at the moment do not allow due to travelling from Veliko Tarnovo where I was born and live to study in Middlesex in England at university. Helping at the shelter fills the gap of not having a dog of my own at the moment.

I come and help at the shelter with walking, feeding, grooming, cuddling and just spending time with all of the dogs, especially little Louie who is featured in my picture.

I am currently studying for a Batchelor’s degree in Film.

When I am not at the shelter I enjoy reading, video games, editing, and photography. I have recently purchased The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – Bulgarian version which I look forward to reading! Not sure if there any dogs in it though?

I am passionate to help dogs and it is really something beautiful when you see the dogs when rescued to how they are months later, loved, cared for and leave for their second chance at life. I am very proud to be part of the team and love being at the shelter.
