Pip

Pip was a chained dog who lived in the same place as Lily who we were supporting along with 3 other dogs.

The man had a new job in Sofia and no longer wanted the dogs. The man threw 4 dogs, including Pip and his mum Amara onto the streets.

After 2 weeks of looking for Pip, he was found in a village close to the shelter. He was brought back to the shelter and it was clear he had injured his leg.

He had broken his leg and received medical attention. His leg was put in cast for recovery following x-rays.

Pip has now had the cast removed and is slowly beginning to use his leg.

Immediately as Pip arrived at the shelter his personality began to show. Pip embraced his new life and freedom no longer chained.

Since arriving at the shelter he has become part of the gang on the morning pack walks, which he adores. His recall is very good and he likes to stay close to you.

He is a very stunning young boy, appearance close to that of a lion with his fluffy mane.

When he has been to the vets he has been happy to meet new people although a little bit shy to begin with. With new volunteers he has welcomed them.
